Meet the monster....
Some how I got all these pictures out of order. Aidan has had a very busy July. He is into everything. He has four teeth now. He learned to sit up, crawl, and pull up all with in a weeks time. Needless to say he is on the move. He is really fast. Yesterday he started to venture into the playroom where Madison has all her treasures. I think he has figured out that it will cause more havoc if he moves about in her territory. He is so much fun right now and I love this age. This month has been the first of many bruises and bumps on the head. He pulls up on everything and lets go and we know what is up must come down. Enjoy the pictures of the little sweet monster.
Crawling away as fast as he can go
Messing in the books
Pulling up to see what else he can get
Look at this sweet face
This is his personality. Look at me I am into something else
He crawls into Madison's room and just sits and waits for her. When she arrives he starts to mess in something and raise her blood pressure. At 7 1/2 months he has already learned how to get her.
Look at this mess of toys
1st time he pulled up
This is the sweet face I find after a nap or in the early morning.

Kid's Celebration for Maddie
I have not posted since Madison's sweet friend Maddie went home to Jesus on July 13th. I guess I just haven't had the words. I still do not know how to describe the past month. It has been hard. I have seen so much love for Jesus during this time of hurt. I am quite sure he has cried with each of us and I know for sure that he has sustained Chrissy and James in an amazing way. I can't begin to put into words how my heart has loved, hurt, and grown during this time. As for Madison and Maddie's friends- I truly believe God prepared their hearts. Their faith in Jesus reminds me of what we should strive for in our walk with him. Your prayers for this family mean so much. The road is long, the hurt is real, and the void is indescribable, however; God's love bears all things. He is carrying them now and they are clinging to his promises.

Pray for Maddie
Madison and Maddie
June 21, 2008
I would like to ask that you please PRAY for Madison's sweet friend Maddie Harrill. We just found out that her cancer is back and has spread. She is at Children's now facing the fight of her life. At this point only God can take this terrible disease from her body. We know that with God all things are possible. I ask that you pray for her, her parents, and family. I saw her parents this morning and they are sad and heartbroken. Her dad said, "it is not fair". He is right it isn't fair. Times like this make us question WHY? Why would this precious child have to face this and why would her parents have to endure watching their daughter and making these decisions. Why would her five year old friends have to go through this with a dear friend? SO MANY WHYS???? Last night I reread a book titled "Why" by Anne Graham Lotts. The book reminds us that it is all FOR GOD'S GLORY. Just because we can't see the big picture now we have to ultimately trust him. I along with others are struggling with this right now. I am trying to trust him but it is so hard to wrap my thoughts around this innocent little girl who is so sick. Like the song goes we must "Praise him in this storm". We are not giving up. We will stand by her and fight with prayer. She loves getting messages on her carepage. I know that her parents are reading them to her because they told me that they read them to her today. Go to carepages.com, set up an account, type in maddieharrill (one word) and leave her a message. But more importantly pray for her. She is loved by so many and would love for you to join her team! (Maddie calls her prayer warriers her team).
